Jesse and Chloe’s North Carolina wedding at The Lumen House began with a calm, but joyful energy. The morning was full of laughter, nerves, and excitement as the couple got ready with their closest friends nearby. Chloe slipped into her Élysée gown with a bolero and Mariposa overskirt from Anjolique Bridal. The layers of fabric moved beautifully as she walked around, and every detail felt intentional and personal. Capturing these moments as they unfolded naturally was definitely a highlight of the day. It’s where the story of the wedding really begins.

Ceremony Surrounded by Nature
The ceremony felt alive with the soft North Carolina light and the natural surroundings of The Lumen House. Chloe’s bouquet from Poppy Flowers Co. added vibrant pops of color while guests looked on with smiles and happy tears. Jesse waited at the altar, and when Chloe walked down, there was a quiet energy in the air that made the moment feel entirely theirs. The space itself was elegant but relaxed, allowing the couple to feel fully present with one another. Every detail from the planning by The Plannerie Co. to the setup of the venue contributed to a day that felt cohesive and effortless.

Portraits and Private Moments
After the ceremony, we captured portraits while guests enjoyed cocktail hour. Chloe’s gown and overskirt created beautiful movement in the soft light. The combination of greenery, flowers, and architecture at The Lumen House made every image feel intentional. We also incorporated special touches like the car from Carolina Classic Car Rentals, giving Jesse and Chloe a little private escape before the party began. These portraits allowed them to pause, breathe, and enjoy a few quiet moments together while the energy of the celebration started to build around them.

Evening Celebration
Dinner, dancing, and desserts transformed the night into a joyful celebration. Guests laughed and shared stories while enjoying cake from Little Rose Desserts and coffee from Eclipse Coffee and Tea. The flower bar by Fleurs à la Carte and extra florals from Fifty Flowers added a playful and personal touch throughout the space. Chloe changed into her second dress, and the energy on the dance floor instantly shifted. Music from Dean’s Duets kept everyone moving, and the room felt alive with celebration from start to finish.

Golden Hour and Final Memories
As the evening light softened, we captured golden hour portraits that felt cinematic and romantic. Jesse and Chloe shared quiet, unposed moments together while the sun set. Every detail, from Chloe’s gown to the surrounding flowers, made the images feel timeless. The night wrapped up with small, intentional touches that left a lasting impression. Their rings from Windsor Jewelers NC glinted in the light, and every memory from the day felt intentional and full of love. Jesse & Chloe’s North Carolina wedding at The Lumen House was a day of joy, beauty, and personality. It perfectly reflected who they are as a couple.

KIND WORDS
“April is nothing short of phenomenal!”
“When we arrived she was friendly, gave great direction and somehow found a way to make my camera shy husband, comfortable! She really knows what she’s doing and it shows in her work!!!! My husband and I eloped, so we decided to have an elopement shoot to remember this time in our lives by. April made us feel like it was just as important to her to get good, memorable shots as it was to us and that feeling is priceless. Thank you again, April for blessing us with your unbelievable talent and beautiful memories to cherish forever.“
