it's all the details

Having April capture my wedding weekend was one of the best, and easiest, wedding decisions I made. Happy is an understatement. After April did my boudoir shoot, it was a no-brainer to trust her with the wedding weekend! Capturing the wedding was my top priority, especially since it is the only thing you have to keep from the best day. She was able to capture the most special moments of my wedding weekend, posed and candid. This may sound trivial, but I am extremely picky about how my face looks in photos, and usually that is not the photographer's job, however, April seemed to know exactly how to direct me in order to get effortless looking shots. What was important to me, genuinely became important to her. Even though I'm sure this was an especially hard job for her due to my husband's hatred of photos, you would never know looking at them! I swear, she is magic.

She is generous with her time, friendship, and efforts in order to make sure we got perfection and felt comfortable. We met many times before our Mexican nuptials, and became friends in the process. The talent that she has is unmatched in her field! Not only did I trust her to get the crucial shots, but she played a pivotal role in my sanity for the day. She is the perfect hype man, while staying calm and directing. I could not be happier with the photos she captured. The colors were stunning, thanks to her editing skills. I bawled crying when she sent me my gallery.
Photos are the emotional keepsake from your wedding day, and Your photographer is not where you should compromise; you are investing in their talents, and what April does is ART.

- Jason & Amy Hicks

Morning coffee and reading the newspaper together, the cool fall breeze blowing through the window as you pour another cup. Black denim and leather boots, the deepest crimson flannel. Rose gold and velvet. Rich and lush. Chatting with locals while we sip our coffee and head out for the next adventure.

Red wine and dark twilight nights.

Sipping chartreuse and green tea while looking at the most perfect white subway tile and hand painted signs. Driving through the mountains to Portland reminiscing about the best memories back home. Cozy sweaters, vintage demin, and Pabst while telling one of a kind love stories. Lastly, champagne brunch and avocado toast while surrounded by the finest exposed brick, dreamcatchers, and maps to our souls.

One of a kind romance.

Hells yeah I do! It is my favorite part of this career. I've photographed in a variety of states as well as international. I'm down to photograph wherever you and your honey are wanting to adventure to!

How much is wedding coverage?

I've been so blessed to have captured over 60 weddings thus far! I try to limit how many weddings I take on per year because I never want to feel like just a photo factory pumping out images with no feeling about it. I limit each year to only 24 weddings or less.

How many weddings have you photographed?

Sessions start at $500 for 60 minutes. Each session comes with a minimum of 40+ images edited in both color and black & white. Pricing can vary based on length of time needed, if permitting is required, and how many individuals will be in the session.
